España se prepara para enfrentarse a condiciones meteorológicas inestables durante el fin de semana, según informó la Agencia Estatal de Meteorología (AEMET).

La mayor parte de la península ibérica y las Islas Baleares experimentarán una cobertura de nubes significativa y probables precipitaciones ligeras, especialmente en la mitad sur, el tercio noreste y las áreas del Mediterráneo, anticipa Europa Press.

Los pronósticos predicen lluvias más intensas, potencialmente severas, acompañadas de tormentas eléctricas en el noreste de Cataluña, Alborán y las regiones costeras del sureste.

Simultáneamente, se esperan nevadas ligeras en áreas como el Sistema Central, las sierras ibéricas del sur, las montañas del sureste y notablemente en los Pirineos, donde podrían ocurrir acumulaciones significativas temprano en el día.

Se espera que la cota de nieve fluctúe entre los 1,200 y 1,600 metros sobre el nivel del mar.

A medida que avance el día, se anticipa una reducción general de las precipitaciones, con cielos más despejados expandiéndose, aunque Galicia occidental sigue siendo una excepción con lluvias persistentes.

Se espera que las temperaturas mínimas aumenten en los archipiélagos y la extremidad occidental de la península, pero se espera que caigan en otros lugares.

Las heladas continuarán afectando gran parte de las áreas del interior norte y las localidades montañosas del sureste, con posible severidad local en zonas montañosas del norte.

Las provincias que se prevé experimentarán las temperaturas más bajas incluyen León con -3°C, y Burgos, Lugo, Palencia, Salamanca y Soria con -2°C, seguidas de cerca por Ávila, Segovia, Valladolid y Zamora con -1°C.

Finalmente, se esperan vientos moderados del norte y noreste en la mitad norte del área mediterránea, con vientos ligeros variables principalmente del este y sur en otros lugares, tendiendo hacia un componente oeste a lo largo del día.

En Canarias, los vientos del este y sureste comenzarán ligeros pero se espera que se fortalezcan.
