Huesca and Navarra, located in the region of Aragón, brace for frigid lows across parts of the Pyrenees, as alerts are expected to lift by 9:00 AM.

Coastal Mediterranean areas, including Mallorca in the Balearic Islands and the province of Barcelona, anticipate torrential rains, while parts of Catalonia, including Girona and Lleida, endure biting colds nearing this winter benchmark.

The first signs of relief emerge as temperatures begin to slightly fall, maintaining less than 10 degrees Celsius across northern and inland regions like Castilla-La Mancha and eastern Andalusia.

Chilly conditions persist in cities such as Segovia, which will see highs around just 4 degrees, and only slightly warmer in Ávila, Burgos, and Teruel.

Contrasting these chills, the Canary Islands continue to feel the grip of adverse coastal phenomena with the northern and north-eastern seas around Lanzarote displaying waves ranging between four to five meters.

Despite the lessening severity of the storm, winds from the north and northwest remain strong across much of the peninsula, indicating a return to calmer conditions is still underway.

While cautionary yellow alerts imply these weather conditions pose no immediate threats to the broader population, vigilance is advised, especially concerning activities susceptible to high-risk exposure.
