In a dramatic escalation of a high-stakes legal battle, the Madrid Prosecutor's Office, led by Álvaro García Ortiz, has requested that the court summon Alberto González Amador, the partner of Madrid's regional president Isabel Díaz Ayuso, to testify in an ongoing investigation into alleged tax fraud.

This development comes just a day after the Spanish Supreme Court charged García Ortiz and other top prosecutors with the unauthorized disclosure of confidential information, ostensibly aimed at the political figure and her associate.

Sources within the judiciary have confirmed that the public prosecutor has submitted a formal request to Madrid's Investigation Court Number 19, seeking the prompt questioning of González Amador and four other individuals under investigation.
