This approach was reiterated by the party’s spokesperson, Pepa Millán, who stated that true opposition entails voting against all government initiatives.

This stance means voting against measures like pension revaluation, public transport discounts, and aid for flood victims, which are all initiatives proposed by the current government.

These measures failed to pass a recent vote in Congress as part of an omnibus decree opposed by the Popular Party (PP), Vox, and Junts per Catalunya.

While there is potential for these measures to be reintroduced individually—potentially gaining support from parties like PP—Vox remains firm in its opposition.

Vox argues that supporting any government policy would inadvertently bolster Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez's administration, which they aim to undermine.

This strategy has consistently seen Vox vote against government proposals throughout the current legislative session.

This includes previous rejections of government decrees intended to provide aid for victims of flooding in Valencia.

PP's leader, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has called on the government to present these measures individually.

The political landscape is further complicated by tensions within the Catalonian independents, with Junts and Esquerra Republicana (ERC) experiencing friction over strategic differences in Congress.
