Red.es Extends Application Deadline for Kit Consulting Program Until March 31, 2025

Red.es Extends Application Deadline for Kit Consulting Program Until March 31, 2025

The Kit Consulting program aims to enhance digital advisory services for SMEs through streamlined processes and AI-driven verification.
Red.es has announced an extension for applications to the Kit Consulting program until March 31, 2025. The program operates under a management model similar to that of Kit Digital, providing a streamlined, automated application process for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) seeking digital consulting services.

This approach has reduced application processing times to an average of three minutes, compared to the previous duration of three hours.

Currently, over 81% of the companies awarded consulting vouchers through Kit Consulting are also beneficiaries of Kit Digital, reflecting a significant level of trust in Red.es’s management.

In its continued commitment to digitalize the productive sector, Red.es has evolved the methodology initiated over three years ago with the Kit Digital program.

The organization is focused on optimizing processing times for the granting and verification of aid.

For the first time in public administration, Red.es has implemented an artificial intelligence (AI) platform that assists in the verification process for justifications of advisory services.

This pioneering process in public administration aims to reduce review times while ensuring the quality and traceability of the proceedings.

The AI system is projected to handle approximately 45,000 documents during the justification process, achieving an 80% reduction in review times, decreasing from five hours to 1.5 hours (90 minutes).

This system also aids in the detection of plagiarism and the verification of document quality by conducting up to one billion comparisons between submitted documents.

Since opening applications on June 18, Red.es has granted more than 14,500 Kit Consulting aids, amounting to over 200 million euros, covering all provinces in Spain.

Digital Advisors are responsible for providing the selected advisory service to SMEs and guiding them through their digitalization journey, with currently over 2,900 advisors available.

The Kit Consulting program offers financial assistance aimed at SMEs with employee counts between 10 and 250, facilitating access to specialized and personalized digital advisory services.

The available advisory services encompass areas such as artificial intelligence consultancy, data analysis (both basic and advanced), digital sales, business process enhancement, strategy and performance improvement, and cybersecurity advisory.

Under the Kit Consulting program, SMEs receive a digital advisory voucher that varies by size: SMEs with 10 to fewer than 50 employees may receive 12,000 euros; those with 50 to fewer than 100 employees can receive 18,000 euros; and businesses with 100 to fewer than 250 employees can benefit from up to 24,000 euros.

Managed by Red.es, an entity under the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Administration through the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, the program is financed with a budget of 300 million euros, funded by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU initiative as part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, with the participation of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce as a collaborating entity.

Companies interested in the program can find more information on the Red.es website, call the provided helpline, or complete the designated form.
